We're a small team from Dharamshala on a mission to bring the Himalayas' best-kept culinary secrets to conscious consumers across India.
Rooted in the Himalayas
ApneeHatti was born from a trek. In 2020, Anubhav Sharma was hiking through the Lahaul Valley when a local beekeeper handed him a spoonful of wild mountain honey. It tasted like nothing he had ever bought in a supermarket — complex, aromatic, alive.
He asked where he could buy it. The beekeeper shrugged: "We sell to a middleman who takes it all. There's no way to reach people directly." That problem became ApneeHatti's founding purpose.
Today we work directly with 50+ farming families across 8 Himalayan districts — bypassing every middleman so farmers earn more, products stay authentic, and you get something genuinely extraordinary.

Anubhav Sharma
Born and raised in Himachal Pradesh, Anubhav started ApneeHatti after years of watching incredible Himalayan products fail to reach people who would value them. He treks regularly to visit farmer partners across Lahaul, Kangra, Spiti, and Chamba — and is deeply passionate about sustainable sourcing and fair trade.
Behind Anubhav is a small, passionate team of Himalayan enthusiasts — quality inspectors, packaging wizards, logistics experts, and digital storytellers — all united by a love for the mountains and a belief that the best things in life shouldn't be locked behind geography.
